Organised by the Wessex Heritage Trust
Hampshire’s OctoberFest is back in 2016 for the 8th year running. Organised by the Wessex Heritage Trust, the event attracts over 8,000 visitors yearly. This year’s OctoberFest takes place 7th-9th October 2016, and will feature over 180 beers, ciders and wines from across the region plus delicious food from local suppliers.
Sunshine is predicted across the whole weekend, so join us to send off the Summer of ’16 in style with the last big celebration before the clocks go back. Bring a picnic blanket and make a day of it with family and friends as you soak up the vibes.
As well as a huge range of drinks, the event also has a wide mix of musical talent on offer. With over 50 bands and musicians taking to the stage, there’s something for everyone from funk to punk, rock to ska and boozey blues.
On Friday night Works Night Out will provide a great opportunity for businesses to let their hair down and enjoy a team night out.
This year we are more social than ever before! Check out our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Make sure to follow us on Facebook where we’ll be running regular competitions to win tickets to OctoberFest!
As part of our commitment to make OctoberFest more family friendly, we are creating a new area of free family activity open throughout Saturday and Sunday for young people aged 3 – 16 years old.
Take part and enjoy watching a variety of entertainers which will include arts, craft, circus, puppetry, storytelling, theatre and walkabout performers.
What’s more, children under 5 can enter for FREE on Saturday, and children under 16 can enter for FREE on Sunday (children must be accompanied by a responsible adult). So why not make a day of it, bring the kids and enjoy a fantastic family Sunday?!
